Yield increase in India.

The poultry market of India is growing very fast with some 1.7 billion Broilers per year and an annual growth rate of more than 10%. Even though India is a country with many vegetarians, the number of egg and milk consumption is high like never before in an international scale and the more people get into good positions in the industry and software etc, the more they try to get chicken meat and milk products. The number of intensive cattle for milk is rising to supply megacities like Mumbai, Calcutta, Delhi or Bangalore.

From today Dr Sekhar Basak will represent us and will develop our business in India. Sekhar has lots of experience in the animal industry and worked in the animal health industry for more than 15 years, thereof about 5 years with the global leader of the Indian botanic Vet companies Ayurvet and the other 9 years with the Elanco company where he learned a lot about global leadership in poultry health feed additives developing markets. After Elanco, Sekhar has worked for Biomin another 2 years, selling Mycotoxine and Immunity control products.
Despite this experience, Sekhar was awarded the best sales man in India 1 year ago with his outstanding results at Elanco and Biomin, where he developed a good sales network and had extraordinary sales success. We are looking forward to develop the same “copy” with him.
