Feed conservation with SorbiAcid.
Because feed is considered food, it also has to meet high quality and hygiene standards. Feed conserved with SorbiAcid is optimally protected against microbial contamination by organic acids. It is completely natural and non-toxic for humans as well as animals.
SorbiAcid in feed helps to halt the undesirable activity of microorganisms and guarantees perfect feed hygiene and composition for the long term. It optimally supports animal performance and safeguards the quality of the food you produce as well as your yield.
The benefits of SorbiAcid:
Quality assurance through conservation.
Almost all feed components are ideal nutrient media for microorganisms. Moisture, warmth and longer storage periods favour the growth and reproduction of harmful germs. The consequences range from feed heating, nutrient loss and the formation of toxins to feed spoilage. Animal acceptance of the feed and processing properties such as flowability decrease.
SorbiAcid in feed helps to halt the undesirable activities of microorganisms and guarantees long-term perfect feed composition. This supports feed hygiene and optimal animal performance and safeguards the quality of food produced.
Feed conservation with SorbiAcid:
Good feed – good performance!
Versatile and safe to use.
SorbiAcid is easy and safe to handle. Because the product is neither corrosive nor caustic, it is not considered a hazardous material and does not require elaborate safety precautions for transport, storage and use.
To increase the ease of handling SorbiAcid for agricultural operations, it is also sold in small containers. A water-soluble form, SorbiAcid K, is also available.
SorbiAcid is used for TMR stabilisation, silage, the conservation of mixed feed and for hygiene control in liquid feed systems. The use of SorbiAcid for TMR stabilisation has proven particularly effective even with high summer temperatures!
Easy use.
For the stabilisation of TMR mixes: Directly add SorbiAcid powder to mineral feed or as a diluted pre-mix when filling the mixer wagon and combine thoroughly into the TMR to make a homogenous mixture.
For the stabilisation of silage: In order to prevent post fermentation after the silo has been opened, mix SorbiAcid into the silage products as early as the chopping stage. The powder’s fine structure guarantees good distribution over the surface of the feed particles. Alternatively, SorbiAcid K can be dissolved in water and added to silage via liquid dosing systems.
