Bigarol Apple IPE

(SYM_873542, PHYT_50059) - Flavour type Apple

PROFILE DESCRIPTION

Fruity, ripe apple, rounded off with aromatic note of cinnamon.

Topnote (Volatility): Fruity
Bodynote (Character): Ripe apple
Basenote (Longlasting): Cinnamon

APPLICATION

Flavour is used in piglet and cattle feed. It effectively masks the feed´s own notes and undesired olfactory notes as well as amino acids in the feed. Additionally, the sweet ripe apple note rounded off with cinnamon is well accepted in piglets, especially in the presence of acids. It can be used in feed for horses, too.

This sweet, apple-like aroma profile is also preferred by rodents (rabbits), lambs and sheep.
It can be used very effectively in fish bait, particularly attracting whitefish such as bream, tench, and carp.

CHEMICAL STABILITY

Feed acids can significantly enhance the fruit's character. It is feed acid-stable (7) and can buffer unpleasant acids (e.g., propionic acid).

(The higher the ingredients' reactivity (1-10), the less responsive they are to acidic or alkaline feed components.)

HEAT STABILITY

Product is heat-stable (8) and stable in mineral feed mixtures!

1 until 5 NOT suitable for thermal processes like pelleting
6 and 7 Heat-stable (flavour loss of up to 10%)
8,9,10 Under high-temperature conditions (<95°C), minimal flavour loss (approximately 2-5%) occurs as a result of the inherent characteristics of the flavour ingredients.
