Bigarol Patisarom PE

(SYM_204067, PHYT_50010) - Flavour type Biscuit

PROFILE DESCRIPTION

Typical butter biscuit rounded off with a sweet vanilla note.

Topnote (Volatility): Butter biscuit
Bodynote (Character): Butter biscuit
Basenote (Longlasting): Sweet Vanilla

APPLICATION

It was specifically formulated to enhance the smell and taste of feed for young animals (piglets, calves, lambs, goat kids), where it is highly accepted due to its sweet biscuit vanilla note. The encapsulation technology used in its formulation effectively protects sensitive flavouring compounds. It can be ideally used in milk replacers (calves, lambs, goat kids, piglets). It masks raw materials with undesired olfactory notes. This makes it one of the top choices for achieving a well-rounded flavour. Can be used in feed for cattle and horses, too.

CHEMICAL STABILITY

Product is feed acid-stable (7).

(The higher the ingredients' reactivity (1-10), the less responsive they are to acidic or alkaline feed components.)

HEAT STABILITY

Encapsulated flavour, offering enhanced protection against critical processes in feed production, such as exothermic neutralization reactions or thermal stress, e.g., during pelleting (heat-stable, 7).

1 to 5 NOT suitable for thermal processes like pelleting
6 and 7 Heat-stable (flavour loss of up to 10%)
8,9,10 Under high-temperature conditions (<95°C), minimal flavour loss (approximately 2-5%) occurs as a result of the inherent characteristics of the flavour ingredients.

INCLUSION RATE

~200 g/t final feed.
If the feed undergoes expansion (~120°C) or extrusion (~150°C), the inclusion rate should be multiplied by 1.5.

  • Cattle mineral feed: 400-500 g/t
  • Piglet mineral feed (4%): 5.000 g/t
  • Milk replacer: 150-200 g/t MR-powder
  • Horse sector: 200-400 g/t final feed
