Phytobiotics celebrates 20th anniversary
High-quality products for more sustainability in animal nutrition, biogas production and plant cultivation: this is what Phytobiotics stands for. The company is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. “For us, science and practical application go hand in hand, right from the start,” says Dr. Hermann Roth and adds: “And we are sure that’s how it will remain in future.” says founder and owner of the Phytobiotics Group, Eltville, and points to the average seven percent share of turnover that his company invests in research and development each year.
Phytobiotics was launched in 2000 with the product line Sangrovit®. Made from natural plant raw materials, Sangrovit® stimulates the appetite and supports the intestinal integrity of farm animals and is successfully used in more than 40 million tons of compound feed worldwide.
Currently Phytobiotics is present in more than 70 countries and has 8 subsidiaries in the most important regions & markets. Networked worldwide with practice and science, Phytobiotics stands for “Made in Germany”: The development and production at the sites in Eltville am Rhein and Neuendettelsau are the heart of the specialist for more sustainability in animal nutrition, biogas production and plant cultivation. Last but not least, since Phytobiotics was established 20 years ago, the company has invested more than 45 million US dollars in the research and development of high-performance products and in the construction of various production facilities at its sites in Germany, China and Brazil.
The product portfolio includes such renowned product lines as Sangrovit®, Plexomin® and Miracol for efficient animal nutrition. Other products recently established on the market include Active D, a feedstuff that supports bone stability and laying performance in poultry in a natural way with botanical vitamin D, and Immune milk, a colostrum powder that contributes to optimal health care for newborns and young animals. In addition to the numerous products for the animal sector, Phytobiotics also develops, produces and distributes performance additives for efficient biogas production and the highly effective trace nutrient fertilizer Green.On.
